Specialties
Race/Identity Issues/Racial Trauma
If you’re grappling with race and identity issues, I’m here to support you. With my extensive experience and deep understanding, I offer guidance to navigate these challenges.
Life Transitions
Whether it’s transitioning from adolescence to adulthood, starting a new school, or navigating significant life changes, I offer deep experience in guiding clients through these pivotal moments with empathy, practical support, and transformative strategies.
Attachment Work
I specialize in supporting children and their families with attachment-related issues, focusing on fostering secure, healthy relationships that form the foundation for emotional resilience and well-being.
Trauma Therapy
I am passionate about helping clients of all ages—children, teens, and adults—navigate and heal from traumatic experiences. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy empowers me to offer an evidence-based, effective approach for processing trauma and reducing its impact on daily life, fostering lasting resilience and emotional growth.
Anxiety
Anxiety can be a debilitating condition impacting every aspect of life. I work with clients to develop proactive coping strategies, manage symptoms, and build resilience. My approach empowers individuals to regain control, enhance their well-being, and improve their overall quality of life through personalized, evidence-based techniques.
EMDR Trained
I help individuals process and heal from traumatic memories using advanced techniques. This involves guiding clients through a series of bilateral eye movements or rhythmic stimulation while recalling distressing experiences. This evidence-based process is designed to reframe and integrate these memories, reducing their emotional charge and enhancing psychological resilience.
You're my ideal client if.....
You’re my ideal client if you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, life transitions, school stress, or race and identity challenges. With my extensive school counseling background, I offer a deep understanding of the educational landscape to support you effectively. Committed to advocating for marginalized communities and addressing systemic inequalities, I aim to guide your personal growth, build resilience, and help you overcome challenges. As an antiracist and progressive counselor, I provide compassionate, culturally competent support tailored to your unique journey. With me, you’ll benefit from a compassionate, validating approach tailored to your needs. I use EMDR for trauma processing, CBT to address anxiety and behavior changes, and attachment-focused techniques to strengthen relationships. By honoring your experiences, I create a safe, supportive space for transformative healing and growth.

I always say that the best therapy happens when we bring our whole, authentic selves into the room. So, here’s a little bit of mine.
Yes, I’m a licensed therapist and school counselor. Yes, I love supporting people through their hardest moments.
But outside of that, I’m a wife, a traveler, and someone who gets overly competitive about sports. I prioritize being around the people who fill my cup, and I'm a proud dog mom to my two pups, Penelope and Guinness. 🐾
Being "human first" means I don't have it all perfectly figured out…And that's exactly what makes the connection real.
Your turn! Introduce yourself in the comments and let me know one thing you love doing just for fun. Let’s be humans together! 👋🏾🫶🏾💖

When “being nice” isn’t actually helping you heal.
Real support doesn’t mean agreeing with everything you do; it means holding up a mirror because I want better for you. I’m in your corner, which means I’m going to help you clear the clutter. Even when it stings a little. ❤️🩹✨

Guinness reminding us that rest isn’t earned, it’s needed. 🤍
One of the things I talk about often with parents is that regulation requires capacity. When we’re running on empty, it’s so much harder to stay patient, connected, and present.
Rest isn’t a reward for getting everything done. It’s one of the things that helps us show up the way we want to.
Guinness seems to understand that instinctively. Maybe we could all take a page from her playbook. 🐾💛
